About Kyle:
Kyle J. Albright, a New Orleans native, is a dedicated golfer, coach, and program director with a passion for the sport that was realized at a young age. Kyle was introduced to golf by his father, Joseph Albright, at the age of 4. By the age of 7, Kyle began playing golf competitively in the City Park golf program.
Kyle furthered his playing career through middle school at St. Anthony of Padua and high school at Brother Martin High School, where he was a four-year letterman and a part of three Catholic League Golf Regional victories.
He attended the San Diego Golf Academy in Myrtle Beach, SC, graduating as an honor student in 2009 and quickly became employed in the golf industry.
Teaching golf to children became his passion; he found enjoyment in helping mold young golfers.
In August 2012, Kyle was hired as the Program Director for the First Tee of Greater New Orleans. He has completed all three levels of training (I, II, III) and reached the level of The First Tee Coach in 2017. Kyle also became a registered PGA Apprentice in the Gulf States Section of the PGA in 2017, and was named the 2020 First Tee Greater New Orleans Coach of the Year.
In 2019, Kyle became the golf coach at Ursuline Academy, the alma mater of his sisters and niece. To date, he has brought success to that program, with two successive LHSAA State Girls Golf Championships for the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 seasons. He was also honored as the LHSAA State Girls Golf Coach of the Year for the 2021-2022 season.
